About Helping Hands Staffing Services

A Business Built On a Passion for People and a Family Promise. Christine Bowman

With Christine Bowman's special enthusiasm and love of people, it is no wonder she started a service that works to put people together for the past 21 years. After working hard for all those years Christine wants to spend some quality time with her family and do some traveling.

"It gives me a sense of pride to hear how people appreciate what we do at Helping Hands Staffing Services," Christine says. "We are thrilled when customers call and tell us 'that was a wonderful person you sent us,' or when we hear from employees who still love their job, years after their placement." Long-term results for companies and employees are a key ingredient in the success of Helping Hands Staffing Services.

Christine credits her stamina and philosophies to her parents who came to the United States from Poland. From their hardships and struggles of war and the poverty of new arriving immigrants, "I made a promise to be the best.  My father pushed me to excel, to succeed and make something of myself. It was their unconditional love that continued to drive me and reflects on what flows in the veins of this organization." But all good things must come to an end. Time to enjoy life to the fullest.

I wish to extend a special "thank you" to my clients and employees. Without your continued support, the success of Helping Hands Staffing Services would not be possible.

New Owner of Helping Hands – Meet Karen Rehn

Karen RehnKaren Rehn is no stranger to the staffing industry with almost a decade of staffing experience and a zest for business,  along with the dream of not experiencing another Wisconsin winter. The search began while Karen was the owner of a broker business in the world of Merger and Acquisitions. Used to finding businesses for others, it was now her time to find a good business that was also in a warm climate and around water. The minute I read about Helping Hands and talked to the owner, I knew I found something special. I flew down shortly and met Christine Bowman, a wonderful woman and full of life. She introduced me to Florida and her world in Bradenton Florida. She gave me a personal tour of Sarasota and Manatee counties… We negotiated an offer and closed a few months later.

Karen brings a wealth of information from the staffing industry and the world of Merger and Acquisitions. “I worked for a very nice organization called Remedy Staffing in Wisconsin where I ran a large territory and a branch office for over 8 years. Leaving the industry was not a easy decision, but having the passion to learn and expand as an individual, I bought a small brokering company in 2003.   After leaving the staffing world…it was an easy transition to sell businesses since I learned so much from the staffing industry. Touring hundreds of companies over the years and learning about many industries that one needs to staff, I found this knowledge helped make a great transition into brokering small business. Over the years I found I did well selling staffing/employment agencies and most recently sold a medical, IT, and specialty food industry employment agency. The staffing company where I had worked for 8 years wanted to sell - so I consulted and sold it for my former boss. He is now currently working for my brokering company, where we specialize in selling staffing/employment agencies. If you have any interest on buying or selling a business, please visit our website at www.acqbiz.com.

My plan for this company is to build upon its foundation, grow it with continued service to our most valued clients, embrace new clients, and add new areas of business, giving them the same great service, dedication and devotion that built this company.  Karen J. Rehn, President
