Darrin Rohr
President, CEO, Owner and Chief Servant
Division: Darrin
Born in California, raised in Kansas. Graduated from Washburn University with a BA in Psychology and earned my MA in Industrial Psychology from The University of Tulsa. Prior to HH Staffing Services, I spent 30 years working in HR with large multi-national organizations as well as small to medium size companies across various industries. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife Margaret, my two sons John Dalton and Mitchell and of course, our two “girls” Stella and Lulu, our two Great Pyrenees dogs.
When not working, I enjoy racing triathlons having completed the Hawaiian Ironman 3 times. The longest day at the office, can never come close to one day spent on the lava fields of Kona, Hawaii. “Mahalo” to all.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: Founder and former Race Director for one of the largest kid focused runs in the United States. Proceeds benefit physical education programs. Thousands of kids’ lives have been positively changed forever and for better. Help a child, change our world. This is my most memorable Helping Hand moment.

Admin & Recruiting Support Specialist
Division: Sarasota
I consider myself New Jersey-raised and born in Cuba. I recently became an official Sarasota resident. I’m a people person and it is rewarding to help change their lives for the better. I had the pleasure of 20 years in the Higher Education industry in an Admin support role and enjoyed every single second.
I attribute my love of helping people to my family who immigrated to the United States. I understand the importance of helping and supporting thy neighbor. We all have a starting point from zero. Community and networking is part of the American story. When I’m not working it’s family time. We are a Yorkie doggy family with fun and quality time together. In my free time I love retail therapy and going into nature.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment:
The patience and kindness of all my co-workers as they are taking extra steps to make sure I feel naturally part of team and comfortable locally. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow and help others.

Born and raised in Tampa, FL. I spent my early years in between Tampa and Sarasota with almost all my weekends on the water. Florida has always been my first home. I have two Amazing sons I raised in GA. I moved to Atlanta in 2006 and started my own business which is still thriving in Atlanta today. I spent over 17 years in the Commercial Pool service industry focusing on HOA properties. Yes, I know how to build a pool and have built pools! I've done it all, pool repairs, renovations, accounting to staffing pool monitors and lifeguards. I'm an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor. I obtained my GA Real Estate License in 2017 and worked in sales, property management and leasing class A properties. I moved back to Sarasota in March of 2023 and love officially being home! Before joining HH Staffing I was in the Leasing Market. I moved back to be closer to my Family and love every moment I get to spend with Family and Friends here in FL!
During my spare time, I love to travel. If I'm not working or traveling, you will find me on the boat enjoying all things water. Scuba diving, spear fishing, paddleboarding and living in the Florida Lifestyle. My other passion is fitness, boxing and the outdoors.
Most memorable helping hand moment: I've had the great pleasure of meeting so many people all over the world and giving back to the community through business and my sons. While lifeguarding I was able to save lives, and I have a deep appreciation for water. I have gratitude for life every day.

Born in Ohio but consider myself a Florida native since I moved here at a very young age. Prior to HH Staffing, I spent over 15 years working with one of the largest banks in the U.S. as a branch manager, service manager, and customer relations manager. When not working, I cherish spending time with my husband of 14 years and my four-legged child, Dodger.
During my spare time, I would prefer to be on a cruise ship or traveling. I also enjoy painting, boating with friends, spending time with my family, and volunteering at local animal shelters.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: It is so important taking pride and ownership of the city that we live in! Volunteering, giving back to the community, and helping others to change their lives for the better through employment opportunities has been an essential part of who I am!

Originally from the Midwest but beautiful Sarasota is home. I began working at HH Staffing in 2015 and still enjoy the variety of responsibilities and people I interact with every day. My favorite free-time activities include the beach, reading and traveling.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment:
The laughter, caring and comfort of my work family.
Ashley Hout
AR/AP Supervisor
Division: Sarasota (support)
Just recently relocated to the Sarasota area this past month from Buffalo, NY. I graduated from Bryant & Stratton College in 2012 with an Associate degree while working full time in a placement agency and becoming a first-time mother. After having worked in different industries outside of staffing, I am happy to be a part of a dedicated team once again. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my two little girls who seem to love make-overs as much as they love the beach. If I have kid-free time, I enjoy reading or horseback riding.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: At least once a month I like to pay for someone’s order in the drive-thru. Typically, it would be in line at a coffee shop, such as Tim Horton’s (which is a Buffalo thing) or Starbucks. I feel surprising someone with a little treat helps bring a smile to their day and hope that they “pass it on.”

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a BS in Natural Sciences and a Minor in Philosophy. Prior to moving to Florida, I worked in the boating and marine service industry for 17 years. In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach or for an in-line skating ride, playing music and making songs.
In the aftermath of a catastrophic hurricane, I reached out to friends who welcomed me in their home and during that time of transition, I was greeted with an opportunity to work. That experience made me realize the importance of community. Now, in my journey of self-development I've found purpose in serving others. The most memorable thing about serving is the more you give, the more you open yourself to receive.

Born and raised in South Carolina but now a Florida sun soaking resident since 2000. Moving here while in grade school with my family for better opportunities in the sunshine state. I have been in the same area since grade school and attended University of South Florida- Sarasota Campus and know this area very well.
On my down time I spend time working on my physical fitness at the gym or running the Nathan Benderson Park loop. My physical fitness Journey began in 2020 during Covid and continues to be an active part of my life style. On weekends I also love to spend time with my 6 month old Chihuahua, Chloe.
My most memorable helping hand moment is being available to anyone who needs my help be it family friends or clients I work with in previous work. I have always gravitated towards work in helping others from case management in Behavioral health and substances to people with intelligence disabilities. I value the relationships I build in my personal life and professional life as it is an important part of my character. I enjoy helping others when they need it has always been my calling and passion.

Hey there! I'm a car enthusiast who absolutely loves drifting cars, but when I'm not behind the wheel, you can find me immersed in video games, unleashing my competitive side and exploring new virtual realms. But at the end of the day, nothing beats spending quality time with my cherished friends and family, creating unforgettable memories together. Life is all about the adrenaline rush, the camaraderie, and the joy that comes from pursuing my passions.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: What resonates with me the most was while I was in high school. I was paired up with a special needs partner and I was responsible for taking him to Miracle League baseball every Sunday. Both of his parents worked two jobs to support the family's income needs. He would always run out of the car with the biggest smile on his face and ready to play ball!

LuLu "Lu" Rohr
Company Mascot #1
Division: Retired
LuLu, Sarasota, Company Mascot #1
My name is LuLu but those who know me best call me “Lu”. I’m a Great Pyrenees Dog living in Florida. Go figure, right? I had nothing to do with moving here, I mean, just look at me, I could easily double as a Polar Bear and just how many Polar Bears do you know who live in steamy hot Florida?
My two main purposes in life, are keeping my “Master Mom” happy and safe (I’ve been known to slip a wet kiss unexpectedly on her from time to time) and keeping my younger twin sister/litter mate Stella out of trouble because trouble is Stella’s middle name.
Stella "Troublemaker" Rohr
Company Mascot #2
Division: Retired
Sarasota, Company Mascot #2
My name is Stella. I’m also a Great Pyrenees and just like my twin sister Lu, I very easily could double as a Polar Bear as well. Yes, I am a trouble maker, not as much of a trouble maker as company mascot #3, but I am certainly a trouble maker. I can explain it all away however by just saying that I was the last puppy out of the liter of seven. I was the baby, I’m still the baby, a big, very big baby but I am still the baby of the liter and I am use to getting things my way.
My purpose in life? To give my sister Lu purpose in her life by watching out for me, and occasionally getting me out of trouble with our Master Mom. Lu does a great job with that purpose and I give her many “daily” opportunities to serve that purpose.
Scarlett "Bugga" Rohr
Company Mascot #3
Division: Retired
Sarasota, Company Mascot #3
My name is Scarlet and I’m a rescue. I’m everything but a purebred. I’m more like a little bit of this and a little bit of that and whole lot of everything else. Those who know me best call me “Bugga”. They call me Bugga because I Bug the heck out of everybody all the time. I could sit, stay, rollover and bark when told to but it’s just more fun doing whatever the heck that I want to do, wherever, and whenever I want to do it.
Things I enjoy doing with my “Twin Sisters” (yes, we are triplets, can’t you tell?), but I really enjoy running up behind my sisters and biting them on their bottom and running off, or taking my sisters toys and running off with them, or running my sisters all around the backyard until they run out of energy which really doesn’t take too long in this Florida heat. Yeah, I pretty much just bug the heck out of my two twin sisters. We make a really good team my two twin sisters and me but I think sometimes we drive our Master’s just a little bit crazy!
Testimonials & Success Stories
Your service allowed me to try several people at varying lengths of time, enabling me to hire just the right person. It also saved me the cost of running “help” ads, which have run $250 or more. Not to mention the time I saved by not interviewing. Also, the entire staff is extremely service oriented…very helpful and organized. One particular day, when one temp didn’t show, Helping Hands had her replacement within 30 minutes. I was very impressed.
We are very impressed with the quick response time that HH Staffing gives us. HH Staffing has filled the orders quickly and efficiently. We are in constant use of temporary labor. Helping Hands has also sent us several temp employees that have worked out very well that we have decided to hire full time. We have used other temp agencies but are most impressed with HH Staffing.
HH Staffing is a great place to start your job search…I was working within one week.
We have used several other temp agencies in the past, but HH Staffing has been an absolute pleasure. We appreciate everything that you all as a company have done for us and especially appreciate the diligent commitment Julio has made to our property. Thank you so much for your time and if you have any other questions please feel free to contact me.
Very professional and a pleasure to work with. Have come through with good people for some of the toughest assignments.
HH Staffing has been great! Everything is prompt and efficient, paychecks, emails, answers to questions, etc. Everyone knows what they are doing, and knows who you are when you contact them, very friendly and professional. Julio Nava in the Orlando office does a great job of finding positions that match your skills, within a reasonable commute and follows up with you regularly to be sure your happy and things are going well on your assignments. I highly recommend Julio and HH Staffing to anyone out there who is looking for an employment agency that will work for you!
I wanted to take just a moment of your time to express what an amazing help Julio has been to our property. The property I manage can be very difficult to keep staffed due to the size. I know that when I have staffing issues, I can always count on Julio to send me the most qualified personnel!
The best decision I have made this year!!!! All I have to say is WOW! HH Staffing is definitely the way to go if you are looking for a job. After stressing, trying to find a job in today’s economy, I didn’t know what to do. I came to HH Staffing, they set me up with a job, and now, that company wants to hire me. Don’t even get me started about HH Staffing’s staff, they are the most helpful, understanding, and kind people I have ever met at a staffing service. I could rant on about how awesome they are for hours, so instead, get off your Facebook, and into their office, you won’t regret.
HH Staffing has highly-qualified candidates – we have hired most of them full time at their 90+ days of service. It was a win-win for both the candidate and my company.
