Born in California, raised in Kansas. Graduated from Washburn University with a BA in Psychology and earned my MA in Industrial Psychology from The University of Tulsa. Prior to HH Staffing Services, I spent 30 years working in HR with large multi-national organizations as well as small to medium size companies across various industries. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife Margaret, my two sons John Dalton and Mitchell and of course, our two “girls” Stella and Lulu, our two Great Pyrenees dogs.
When not working, I enjoy racing triathlons having completed the Hawaiian Ironman 3 times. The longest day at the office, can never come close to one day spent on the lava fields of Kona, Hawaii. “Mahalo” to all.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: Founder and former Race Director for one of the largest kid focused runs in the United States. Proceeds benefit physical education programs. Thousands of kids’ lives have been positively changed forever and for better. Help a child, change our world. This is my most memorable Helping Hand moment.
(Watch the 3:30 minute video to learn why Darrin is so passionate about helping people and what that means to you.)

I was born and raised in the corn and bean fields of northern Illinois, until after college where I spent several years working in the suburbs of Chicago for a large international company. I have lived in southern California and beautiful South Carolina before my venture to warm, sunny Florida, where I have worked for HH Staffing for nearly four years. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, five children, one granddaughter, and two rescue dogs.
When I am not working at HH Staffing, I work with my husband on our family-owned business of remodeling and designing homes. I also enjoy the beach, traveling, reading, and hiking in the Carolinas.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: Our family enjoyed a trip to Guatemala where we brought Christmas presents of clothing and toys to the children with few belongings, and just to see their faces light up was worth more than words. I also enjoy working with our church to deliver food to those in need in our nearby neighborhoods. Giving back to others is my Helping Hand moment.

Born in Europe, raised in New Jersey. Graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in English, minor in cinema studies. Prior to HH Staffing, I spent 15 years working in HR/talent acquisition for various staffing firms and corporations in New York and Connecticut. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
My passion is music. I have been singing since I was 9. I have recorded vocals and performed in choir all throughout High School.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: I absolutely love connecting with the community. I often do presentations at local colleges on interviewing skills and resume writing. It’s my way of helping prepare young adults for that next step in their lives: finding a job!

Born in Ohio but consider myself a Florida native since I moved here at a very young age. Prior to HH Staffing, I spent over 15 years working with one of the largest banks in the U.S. as a branch manager, service manager, and customer relations manager. When not working, I cherish spending time with my husband of 14 years and my four-legged child, Dodger.
During my spare time, I would prefer to be on a cruise ship or traveling. I also enjoy painting, boating with friends, spending time with my family, and volunteering at local animal shelters.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: It is so important taking pride and ownership of the city that we live in! Volunteering, giving back to the community, and helping others to change their lives for the better through employment opportunities has been an essential part of who I am!

Originally from Indiana and still loving Sarasota. I began working at HH Staffing in June 2015 as a receptionist. In my role as receptionist and customer service specialist, I go above and beyond to serve our candidates’ and clients’ needs each and every day.
I have two amazing sons whom I love very much. My favorite free-time activities include the beach, reading and traveling.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: By conservative estimations, given the number of emails, voicemails and live phone calls that I have the honor to answer each and every day, I have been able to help roughly 200,000 people since coming to work here at HH Staffing nearly three years ago and I am not done helping people yet. I have the most fulfilling job in the company!

From Illinois all the way to Sarasota, Florida I have been on a quest to find a career that fulfills both my professional career and my personal/family life. I started my communications career in radio promotions and web content, then later moved to explore the behind the scenes digital marketing of the news television world. I consider myself a people person, always trying to greet people with a smile and find different ways to connect with them.
When I am not working, I stay busy chasing and playing with my daughter, critiquing movies with my husband, spoiling my dog and I love creating digital art in my free time.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: Now that I have a family I always try to reach out when I see a family in need. I find time to find places that take donations so I can donate unused/gently used clothes.

Just recently relocated to the Sarasota area this past month from Buffalo, NY. I graduated from Bryant & Stratton College in 2012 with an Associate degree while working full time in a placement agency and becoming a first-time mother. After having worked in different industries outside of staffing, I am happy to be a part of a dedicated team once again. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my two little girls who seem to love make-overs as much as they love the beach. If I have kid-free time, I enjoy reading or horseback riding.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: At least once a month I like to pay for someone’s order in the drive-thru. Typically, it would be in line at a coffee shop, such as Tim Horton’s (which is a Buffalo thing) or Starbucks. I feel surprising someone with a little treat helps bring a smile to their day and hope that they “pass it on.”

Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI relocated to Tampa Fl 8 years ago after graduating from Bryant & Stratton College. I have a beautiful bright 13-year-old daughter and my fur babies Luna and Boo. I started my career in Human Resources in 2014 and have transitioned into full desk recruiting in 2018. I am very excited to have joined HH Staffing Services and being a part of such a great dedicated team! When I am not at work, I like to go to the beach with my daughter and jump in the waves. I also enjoy playing with my dogs and reading.
Most Memorable Helping Hand Moment: I drove out of a Walmart parking lot once and saw a homeless man with his dog, the man had a sign up asking for money so he and his dog could eat. I gave him a $10 bill and he was very grateful. I always try to give if I can. Have it be, helping out at the Shelter serving food during the holiday season or giving money to someone in need.

My name is LuLu but those who know me best call me “Lu”. I’m a Great Pyrenees Dog living in Florida. Go figure, right? I had nothing to do with moving here, I mean, just look at me, I could easily double as a Polar Bear and just how many Polar Bears do you know who live in steamy hot Florida?
My two main purposes in life, are keeping my “Master Mom” happy and safe (I’ve been known to slip a wet kiss unexpectedly on her from time to time) and keeping my younger twin sister/litter mate Stella out of trouble because trouble is Stella’s middle name.
Stella "Troublemaker" Rohr

Sarasota, Company Mascot #2
My name is Stella. I’m also a Great Pyrenees and just like my twin sister Lu, I very easily could double as a Polar Bear as well. Yes, I am a trouble maker, not as much of a trouble maker as company mascot #3, but I am certainly a trouble maker. I can explain it all away however by just saying that I was the last puppy out of the liter of seven. I was the baby, I’m still the baby, a big, very big baby but I am still the baby of the liter and I am use to getting things my way.
My purpose in life? To give my sister Lu purpose in her life by watching out for me, and occasionally getting me out of trouble with our Master Mom. Lu does a great job with that purpose and I give her many “daily” opportunities to serve that purpose.
Scarlett "Bugga" Rohr

My name is Scarlet and I’m a rescue. I’m everything but a purebred. I’m more like a little bit of this and a little bit of that and whole lot of everything else. Those who know me best call me “Bugga”. They call me Bugga because I Bug the heck out of everybody all the time. I could sit, stay, rollover and bark when told to but it’s just more fun doing whatever the heck that I want to do, wherever, and whenever I want to do it.
Things I enjoy doing with my “Twin Sisters” (yes, we are triplets, can’t you tell?), but I really enjoy running up behind my sisters and biting them on their bottom and running off, or taking my sisters toys and running off with them, or running my sisters all around the backyard until they run out of energy which really doesn’t take too long in this Florida heat. Yeah, I pretty much just bug the heck out of my two twin sisters. We make a really good team my two twin sisters and me but I think sometimes we drive our Master’s just a little bit crazy!
Testimonials & Success Stories
The best decision I have made this year!!!! All I have to say is WOW! HH Staffing is definitely the way to go if you are looking for a job. After stressing, trying to find a job in today’s economy, I didn’t know what to do. I came to HH Staffing, they set me up with a job, and now, that company wants to hire me. Don’t even get me started about HH Staffing’s staff, they are the most helpful, understanding, and kind people I have ever met at a staffing service. I could rant on about how awesome they are for hours, so instead, get off your Facebook, and into their office, you won’t regret.
HH Staffing is a great place to start your job search…I was working within one week.
HH Staffing has been great! Everything is prompt and efficient, paychecks, emails, answers to questions, etc. Everyone knows what they are doing, and knows who you are when you contact them, very friendly and professional. Julio Nava in the Orlando office does a great job of finding positions that match your skills, within a reasonable commute and follows up with you regularly to be sure your happy and things are going well on your assignments. I highly recommend Julio and HH Staffing to anyone out there who is looking for an employment agency that will work for you!
We have used several other temp agencies in the past, but HH Staffing has been an absolute pleasure. We appreciate everything that you all as a company have done for us and especially appreciate the diligent commitment Julio has made to our property. Thank you so much for your time and if you have any other questions please feel free to contact me.
I wanted to take just a moment of your time to express what an amazing help Julio has been to our property. The property I manage can be very difficult to keep staffed due to the size. I know that when I have staffing issues, I can always count on Julio to send me the most qualified personnel!
Your service allowed me to try several people at varying lengths of time, enabling me to hire just the right person. It also saved me the cost of running “help” ads, which have run $250 or more. Not to mention the time I saved by not interviewing. Also, the entire staff is extremely service oriented…very helpful and organized. One particular day, when one temp didn’t show, Helping Hands had her replacement within 30 minutes. I was very impressed.
We are very impressed with the quick response time that HH Staffing gives us. HH Staffing has filled the orders quickly and efficiently. We are in constant use of temporary labor. Helping Hands has also sent us several temp employees that have worked out very well that we have decided to hire full time. We have used other temp agencies but are most impressed with HH Staffing.
Very professional and a pleasure to work with. Have come through with good people for some of the toughest assignments.
HH Staffing has highly-qualified candidates – we have hired most of them full time at their 90+ days of service. It was a win-win for both the candidate and my company.
