Position: Groundskeeper

Location: Port St. Lucie, FL

Pay: $20/hour

Experience: Proven experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 

Type: Full-time; Temporary

HH Staffing is seeking a Groundskeeper to join a growing and dynamic team!   

  

Job Description:  

  1. Perform regular checks and upkeep of outdoor furniture, playground equipment, and other amenities.
  2. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including walkways, parking lots, and recreational areas.
  3. Collect and dispose of trash, debris, and litter from grounds and common areas.
  4. Perform minor repairs and maintenance on outdoor structures, such as fences, gates, and signs.
  5. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.
  6. Report any major maintenance or repair needs to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
  7. Use and store groundskeeping equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly.
  8. Interact with residents in a courteous and professional manner.
  9. Respond to resident concerns or requests related to outdoor areas.


Position Requirements:    

  1. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  2. Basic knowledge of safety practices related to groundskeeping and maintenance.
  3. Knowledge of lawn care, gardening, and grounds maintenance techniques.
  4. Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
  5. Strong attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics.
  6. Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
