Position: Apartment Maintenance Technician
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Pay: $22/hour
Experience: Previous apartment/multifamily maintenance experience required
Education: EPA and/or HVAC Certification highly preferred
Type: Full-time; Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday
HH Staffing is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Complete apartment maintenance work orders and service requests
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repairs
- Assist with unit turns and prepare apartments for new residents
- Perform drywall patching, painting, caulking, and minor carpentry repairs
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently
- Assist with preventive maintenance throughout apartment communities
- Assist with groundskeeping duties and general property upkeep as needed
- Pick up trash and debris and help maintain clean common and exterior areas
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Travel between assigned apartment properties throughout St. Petersburg
- Communicate professionally with property management staff and residents
Position Requirements:
- Must be willing to assist with groundskeeping and property upkeep as needed
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general property repairs
- Must have basic hand tools
- Must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling between properties
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must be dependable and available for a full-time schedule
