Position: Maintenance Technician 

Location: Sarasota, FL

Pay: Up to $24/hour 

Experience: Previous apartment maintenance experience or strong general handyman skills.  

Education: HVAC certification or other relevant technical licenses are preferred.

Type: Full-time; Temporary

HH Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description:  

1. Perform general maintenance and repairs in areas such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
2. Inspect and troubleshoot systems, equipment, and appliances.
3. Respond to work orders in a timely manner and accurately document completed tasks.
4. Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure safety and functionality.
5. Prepare vacant units for move-in, including repairs, touch-ups, and cleaning.
6. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, grounds, and amenities.
7. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

Position Requirements:    

1. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
2. Familiarity with maintenance tracking or property management software is preferred.
3. Willingness to respond to emergency maintenance calls, if needed. 
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
