Refer Candidates. Get Paid. Simple as That!
WOW, it’s a great time to be in the job market with all of the incredible employment opportunities available to today’s job seekers.
It wasn’t always this way. I remember coming out of graduate school way back in the day and I had one job interview, just one! And I sourced that interview through the help wanted section of the local newspaper. Luckily for me, I got the job and off I went into the workforce. Super happy for today’s job seekers that they do not have to scour thru the help wanted employment section of the local newspaper as those days are pretty much gone gone gone! Thank you, internet job boards.
Today’s job seekers often find their jobs thru Google Ads, Social Media, Billboards, Trade Shows, TV Commercials, Flyers, Radio Spots, Blimps, etc. Pretty much everything but the newspaper.
Do you know the single most effective way to find a job? The same way that we find out about great restaurants, fantastic hairstylist, trustworthy auto mechanics, and even available people to date. It’s called, “Word of Mouth” advertising. The best leads and strongest potential customers comes from “word of mouth”. People tell their friends or families about a positive experience and the person is much more likely to trust the business enough to commit to a purchase of a product or service.
Referrals is another word for “Word of Mouth” adverting. Although technology platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and even review sites like Google My Business or Trip Advisor let strangers communicate to the general public, there is still a human connection that can never be outdone. People are much more likely to trust what another person says about an experience than a business owner touting their bonafides.
There is a trust factor of shared human experience that technology can never replicate.
